3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Our Service Providers (Data Processors): We may share your information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf and require access to your information to do that work. Examples include website hosting providers (where your data and demos are stored), data analysis services, and email delivery services. Please note that your emails and some data are stored on third-party servers and email services. While Drecordz uses reasonable measures to select secure service providers, we are not responsible for any mishaps, security breaches, or misuse of data that occurs due to the actions or inactions of these third-party service providers once data is transferred to them, provided Drecordz has met its obligations for due diligence and contractual safeguards.

4. Data Security
We have implemented reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect your personal information from accidental loss, unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include using secure server environments, access controls, and encryption where appropriate.
However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, and no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.
In the event of a personal data breach, we will comply with our obligations under the DPDP Act, including notifying the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals where required by law.
5. Demo Submission Policy
As stated in our Terms of Service, Drecordz provides features allowing users to submit demo tracks, music, or other creative content. Please be aware of the following:
- Submission Limits: We only allow a maximum of two (2) tracks to be submitted within any 24-hour period. This helps us manage submissions and ensure fair review processes.
- Multiple Submissions & Spamming: Submitting multiple demos within a short period, especially if they are similar or irrelevant, may be considered spamming or a violation of our policies and terms. Such actions may lead to the cancellation of previously submitted demos and can result in your access being blocked from using the Website or submitting further demos. Drecordz reserves the right to take action against users who engage in such practices to maintain the integrity of our submission process.
- File Format & Size: Demos must be submitted in M4A or MP3 format and be less than 15 MB in file size. Submissions not adhering to these specifications may not be reviewed.
- Content Restrictions: Your demos must not be AI-generated (unless explicitly permitted by Drecordz and clearly disclosed by you) or contain copyrighted sounds (samples, melodies, lyrics, etc.) that you do not have the legal right to use.
- Licensing for Copyrighted Material: If your demo includes any copyrighted material for which you require a license, you must send a proper license or written permission from the copyright owner or their authorized party to info@drecordz.com, providing all necessary details. Failure to do so may result in the rejection or removal of your demo and potential account action.
- Review Process & Outcome: Drecordz typically takes 1-2 weeks to review demos and will endeavor to share the outcome with you. However, in some cases, particularly due to violations of our terms or policies (e.g., spamming, copyrighted material without license, AI-generated content not declared), you may not receive a reply or any notification regarding your submission. Drecordz values originality and creative aspects in all submissions.
6. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our Website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites or services you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
7. Use of Services by Minors
Our Website is not directed to individuals under the age of fourteen (14) ("Children" or "Child"). We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under 14 without verifiable parental consent.
If a user under the age of 14 accesses our Website and proceeds to interact with it, including by clicking "I agree to terms and services" or similar consent mechanisms, Drecordz assumes that such user has obtained the necessary parental or guardian permission. Drecordz is not responsible for any lack of parental consent in such instances.
While our primary audience is 14 and above, please note that under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), a 'child' is defined as an individual below the age of eighteen (18). Therefore, the specific protections and prohibitions under the DPDP Act for children's data (e.g., verifiable parental consent, no tracking, behavioral monitoring, or targeted advertising, no processing detrimental to well-being) apply to all users under 18.
The content on Drecordz primarily focuses on music and artistic expression. While we strive to maintain a universally accessible environment and Drecordz never intentionally posts content that is explicit or unsuitable for children, some artist song titles, lyrics, or accompanying graphics submitted by artists may contain very minute or minimal explicit content not suitable for younger audiences. We make efforts to moderate such content, but parental discretion is advised for users under 18.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your Child has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
